Lord God, open me to your heart, in Jesus Christ, as I pray.   Holy Spirit of compassion and comfort, hear me.  Be attentive to my call at your door for hope.  By your good counsel direct (me/us/name of person/s) to someone who will listen in your name to needs which scream for care, often unexpressed, which bring deep turmoil to ordinary life.  In Jesus, who called himself our doorway to shelter, peace and new hope.  Amen
